We collect your email address and your chosen language. The email address lets us give you access to your content and reply to you if needed. We do not ask children themselves for any information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Usage Data and Error Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We use the following services in the app:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Firebase Analytics by Google. This service records how the app is used, for example which areas are opened and how long the app is used. We use this analysis to improve the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Firebase Crashlytics by Google. This service automatically notifies us when the app crashes, together with technical details about the device and the time of the crash. Without such reports we could not fix errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both services are operated by Google. Google's privacy policy applies in addition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6. Subscription and Payments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The subscription for 3 Swiss francs per month is processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. You enter your payment details there, not with us. We do not receive any credit card data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We use the service RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. It processes the information on whether a valid subscription exists and links it to your account. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies in addition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7. Storage Location<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The application runs on Amazon Web Services servers in the eu-central-1 data center in Frankfurt, Germany. The database with account data is located in the us-east-2 data center in Ohio, United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8. Children<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The app is intended for children under the age of thirteen. We do not ask children for any information beyond what is necessary for using the app. Accounts are created and managed by parents or caregivers. Parents can request information about the data stored for their account, and have it corrected or deleted, at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 9. Disclosure to Third Parties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We only disclose personal data where this is necessary for operating the app, namely to Amazon Web Services for hosting, to Google for usage analysis and error reports, to RevenueCat for managing subscriptions, and to Apple and Google for distributing the app and processing payments. Beyond that, we disclose data if we are legally required to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10. Disclosure Abroad<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Some data is processed in the United States, in particular the account database and the services provided by Google and RevenueCat. These providers are contractually obliged to protect the data there as well, in line with Swiss and European standards, based on standard contractual clauses or the applicable frameworks for transatlantic data transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 11. Retention Period<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Your account data remains stored for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, the associated data is removed immediately.
