Audio stories as preparation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Stories are a powerful method<\/strong> for overcoming fears<\/strong> and optimally preparing<\/strong> children for medical procedures. According to the principles of brain integration<\/strong>, stories play a central role by engaging the creative and emotional areas of the right hemisphere of the brain while simultaneously activating the logical and linguistic functions of the left hemisphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This holistic stimulation not only promotes understanding<\/strong> but also allows for a deeper processing of experiences, helping to reduce fears and uncertainties<\/strong>. Thus, stories provide an ideal platform to familiarize children with the topics of doctors, dentists, and hospital visits in a playful manner, helping them to cope with their fears or prevent them from arising in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
